Did you know that there are certain diseases that can affect either human or animals that may lead to death? “Zoonosis” is an infectious or parasitic disease that can be found in some animals and can be transferred to humans. There is also what we call reverse zoonosis which is a parasitic disease from humans transferred to animals. Both of these are infectious and can be deadly and are very flexible organisms which mean it can adapt to both human and animals depending on its prey.
Here are some of the animals that carry these deadly Diseases:
1. Birds can be carriers of certain diseases such as scampylobacteriosis, salmonellosis, bird flu, cryptosporidiosis, and the avian tuberculosis. Some of these diseases can be transmitted to humans and some can only affect other animals.
2. Rabies from dogs is one of the most listed down lethal disease known all over the world.
3. Nocturnal species such as bats are also known to carry certain infectious diseases like Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Rabies.
