The Goodness of Vitamin C

Vitamin C is considered as one of the most essential vitamins that our body needs in order to perform its daily task and to protect the body from certain harmful radicals. It is also widely known to be an antioxidant used in man medicines that helps prevent and cure certain sickness such as flu, colds, and coughs.

Over the years of continuous research, studies have shown that the intake of the right amount of vitamin C will likely helps the body in repairing damage tissues and as well as aid in the growth formation of collagen in bones, cartilage, skin, blood vessels, and muscles. This vitamin also aids our body for recovering and healing faster our wounds.

Though many of us are not familiar, vitamin C is basically needed for iron absorption of the body.
Doctors all over the world recommend that the intake this vitamin should be in regular basis since our body does not store this kind of nutrient when consumed.

Examples of foods that provides vitamin C are oranges, papayas, pineapples, strawberries, blueberries, guavas, kiwi fruit, lychee, currants, pomelo, green, yellow, and red chilli pepper,  parsley, kale, mustard spinach and many more!
