Healthy-licious Apples

“An apple a day, keeps the doctor away” – this idiomatic expression is most probably one of the lines that we can still remember since we were still young.  The fact that apples are inexpensive made it to be widely used in almost various types of dishes such as desserts, beverages, main and side dishes and as well as beauty treatments and hair treatments.

Other than being a fruits that can suit various dishes, apples are also found helpful for dental health. It has fibers that helps cleans the teeth, it also contains anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties that prevents bacteria and virus from causing damage.

Women who are experiencing bone damage or osteoporosis due to post-menopausal are recommended to consume at least 2 apples a day to help strengthen the bones and adds bone density.

According to studies conducted in the University of Illinois in United States, the fibers found in apples are found to boost the immune system of the body.  Sick people who eat apples are likely to recover faster compared to those who do not.

Truly there are a lot of wonders apples have. Not only that it is delicious for our tummy, it is also delicious for our body’s health.
