Tips on how to lower your Cholesterol levels

Most of us right now are in the struggle of fighting over weight or obesity, but not to worry because there are actually a couple of easy ways to help you lower those hateful calories in the body.

1.    Lessen the intake of total fat. Eating a fight fat diet increase cholesterol levels in the body.  One of these ways is by removing the visible fats when you are cooking and remove the skin of poultry products when cooking or eating it.

2.    Lessen the use of oil. We all know that oil has a lot of cholesterols in it. However, we might still be needing the use of it in some foods so try opting for vegetable oils such as sesame oils, olive oils, sunflower oils, and etc.

3.    Instead of going into a tight high protein diet using livestock and poultry meat, go for fish meat instead. It is lesser in cholesterol and calories.

4.    Eat nuts. Nuts such as walnuts and almonds are found to have lowered the cholesterol levels of the body.

5.    Eat more fibre-rich foods. Fibre helps in lowering bad cholesterol and thus also helps in digestion.
